Onyx~ is a variety of quartz that has regular, even bands in its crystal structure. It often ranges from jet black to white or clear. Often in the black variety one cannot see the bands even though they are there. Said to give you spiritual inspiration. |

The first time I went out west, I was so excited to see distant mountain ranges on the horizon as we travelled. They beckoned to me like Sirens as I wanted to be in the mountains exploring their enchanted beauty. I wrapped the Onyx Pendant in Sterling Wire, then bent the wire into impressions of mountain ranges to help get my point of view across. The rest of the necklace with the undulating Onyx Triangles separated by Hematite and sterling silver spacers also reinforces my vision. The necklace is metal strung with a solid sterling silver lobster claw clasp and has large silver chain to adjust the length. Solid Sterling Ear Wires with Onyx and Hematite completes the set.
