Jewelry Inspired by Nature |
|
Nature is such a vast and wonderful source for inspiration. It is easy to be inspired by grand mountain views, but sometimes a simple dragonfly sitting gracefully on a lily pad is all you need. I started with a desire to create the dragonfly in sterling silver wire. As pleased as I was with the outcome, she needed something more, so I created the glass, lampwork beads to mimic the segmented body of the dragonfly. The necklace is metal strung with a solid sterling silver toggle clasp for ease in putting it on. Solid Sterling Leverback Earrings with my Lampwork glass and sterling silver Bali Beads and completes the set.
