As you travel from the eastern U.S. to the west, you pass through many beautiful landscapes before encountering the Rockies, and they are beautiful in their own right. This piece is in honor of those often overlooked, out of the way places we so often pass up on our way to more majestic adventures. The unusual combination of Brown Zebra Jasper, Jasper and Fresh Water Pearl makes this pendant truly one-of-a-kind. In order to highlight this uncommon pendant, I used Orange Aventurine “V” shaped beads with Orange Fossil Coral and Peach Marble. The necklace is metal strung with a solid sterling silver lobster claw clasp and extra sterling rings to adjust the length. Solid Sterling French Ear Wires with Orange Fossil Coral and Peach Marble beads completes the set.

Jasper– is an opaque form of Quartz that can come in a variety of earth-tone colors. The color comes from the type of impurities found in the stone. For example, Red Jasper gets its color from the oxidized iron in the stone. Said to bring protection, health and joy. |
