As a river slows down when it nears the ocean, the water can no longer carry the grains of sand it has carried for hundreds of miles. As a result, a river delta is a maze of sand bars and tributaries that look like tan ribbons fluttering in the wind. The Aqua Terra Jasper inside the brown Mother-of-Pearl squares reminds me of these wisps of sand in an aqua rive. The necklace is metal wire strung with a trigger clasp and extra sterling rings to adjust the length. Sterling Ear Wires with Aqua Terra Jasper and Swarovski Crystal completes the matching set.
