Sometimes when I make my glass beads, I have no idea what I am going to do with them. This was one of those times, but I am please with the way it turned out. I made the Lampwork Beads with Sterling Silver Foil and 3 different glass colors. In this necklace I combined them with Turquoise and Glass Daggers to give the overall effect of a cool Sea Breeze you might feel sitting on a white sand beach with Palm Fronds overhead. The necklace is metal strung with a solid sterling lobster claw clasp with extra sterling jump rings to adjust the length. Solid Sterling Silver Leverbacks with my Lampwork beads and Turquoise completes the set.

Lampwork- The earliest known objects of man-made glass are beads. They have been used by almost every culture as symbols of wealth, beauty, and even money. I create each of these unique beads using a torch and glass rods in varying colors. |
